The first solid food for problem-free and gentle feeding of puppies of all breeds

An optimally prepared puppy diet is the best basis for healthy development, especially during the weaning phase, when you have to get used to solid food. Therefore, it is important to ensure that the meal is easily tolerated. Happy Dog Puppy Starter contains easily tolerated lamb and easily digestible rice, in a recipe with 30% protein and 16% fat, which is optimally adapted to the needs of puppies. Based on the Happy Dog Natural Life Concept®, puppies are provided with everything they need to benefit their bodies holistically and ensure a long and healthy life.

The fine structure of the granules is ideal for getting used to solid food for the first time and gently feeding the puppy without any problems, during the weaning phase from the 21st day of life. When mixed with water or Puppy Milk (Happy Dog Puppy Milk), a fine slurry is created, which puppies accept with great enthusiasm. Happy Dog Puppy Starter Lamm & Rice is also characterized by its fast solubility: the porridge can be fed after just 3 minutes.

From the 5th to the 6th week of life, the puppy is slowly introduced to the appropriate Happy Dog Puppy food product.

- Mix the granules with warm water (about 60°C) or puppy milk and let them soak for a while. The desired consistency of the feed can be adjusted with the amount of water and the swelling time.

- Weigh the puppy regularly and adjust the feeding amount accordingly.

- Taking into account the individual needs of the puppies, the amounts indicated above can be less or more than 15%.

- Always have fresh drinking water available.
